Hello Team,

I have trouble opening visualizer tools.

- SDK 05_03_00_02, Low power visualizer 5.3.0.0 : No problem.

- Industrial visualizer (version ??) : No problem.

SDK 05_03_03_01 & SDK 05_04_00_01 : Failed to open.

The error message (in command window) is below:

File "src\sop_switching.py", line 17, in SwitchSOP_Mode

OSError; [Errno 22] Invalid argument

(... similar faults due to [Errno 22] Invalid argument ...)

[25064] Failed to execute script visualizer due to unhandled exception!

I would appreciate it if anyone could let me know how to solve it.

  • Hi Taeyoon!

Thanks for reaching out. Does this error happen on visualizer startup, or when you try to flash the device? Could you try starting the visualizer before plugging the device in?

Also, could you send a screenshot of the full command window when this error occurs?

    Thanks,

    Ethan Cope

  • Now I see I omitted the title by mistake Disappointed...

Thank you for your quick comment.

This error happens on visualizer startup without plugging the device in.

Screenshots of the full command window are as below:

  • Hi Taeyoon,

Thanks for your patience in the resolution of this question, Friday was a U.S. holiday. Since 05_04_00_01 traceback has import errors, and I wasn't able to replicate your issue on my install of 05_04_00_01, this may be an error with the SDK installation on your machine. Could you try deleting and re-installing the 05_04_00_01 SDK on your device?

Additionally, I've reached out to our SDK team for more in-depth analysis. We'll get back to you soon!

    Thanks,

    Ethan Cope
