Hi,
Most customer would use watchdog in their system, it is need to service the watchdog, or would trigger warm reset. If enable deep sleep mode, once enter LPDS how to service the WDT and ensure the device work normally?
Thanks.
Andy

Hello Andy.
Let me look into this and I will have a response by the end of the day Thursday.

Hello Andy.
The WD timer will shutdown in LPDS, so you will have to reconfigure the watchdog as the device comes out of deep sleep. You cannot service the WDT during LPDS.

Hi Santosh,
Watchdog is always used to recover the device from stuck, if the device cannot wakeup from LPDS, then how to discover the issue and recover the device?
Andy
Hello Andy.
I've never encountered a device getting stuck in deep sleep, but if it did you would be able to identify it by the peripherals such as UART not being active after the deep sleep period. In this case I believe a NRESET would be required to recover the device; the watchdog is used to recover the device in situations outside of this scenario as it is shut down during LPDS. If an NRESET doesn't resolve it, you will most likely have to get a new device.
Sincerely,
Santosh
