AWR2944: HECR demo not working

When I flash my board (2944EVM rev B) with the corner radar prebuilt binary (I tried from radar toolbox 1.2, 1.3, 2.0) I get nothing on UART from the board.
I tried flashin using UniFlash and Using the python script. In both cases I get the message that flashing is complete, after which I tried running (with SOPs set correctly) multiple times. Through the python script it says no data on COM port, I also checked the Termina, nothing.

Also, I have this error when trying to build. Do you maybe know a workaround?

Trying the ccsdebug with ccsdebug image also gives error.

Hello Ivan, sorry for the difficulty. I just want to confirm you used the pre-built images e.g. from the radar toolbox as below?

Hello Ivan, could you check what version of python and all necessary libraries installed you have installed, and ensure they are correct? Are you able to open the GUI? Please also check that you are using the correct COM ports and are the COM port drivers installed?

Are you able to run OOB demo? if you can run OOB demo it is probably an issue on your PC and not the board

I mean are you even reading everything that I am writing?
I have used TI radars for 6 years now.
So yes, I got the right binary flashed.
Yes, I open the GUI (BUT IT DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE THE RADAR DOES NOT SEND ANYTHING THROUGH UART!!)
Yes, I select the right COM ports.

When I use the old ADAS it works, the MATLAB one, with the old cote from Automotive toolbox.

And yes, its definitely the board, no data on my oscilloscope.
All this, does not begin to explain my build issues.
I will try the OOB demo today/

I found on another threat that ES 1.0 and ES 2.0 are different and this code will not work on both, can you confirm?
Can you confirm that ordering a new boards today will be ES 2.0?

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the details. Yes, the .appimage from radar toolbox will work for ES2.0 silicon only. Also can confirm all boards and silicon shipped today are ES2.0. ES1.0 was intended for pre-production use. The latest board version is Rev D.

Hi Ivan,

Yes, Rev B has AWR2944 ES1.0 while the latest Rev D has the ES2.0 silicon.

ES1.0 has less memory than ES2.0, and that may cause the demo to fail for larger numbers of objects.

Please show this response to the Customer Service team and request a replacement of the Rev B board.
