TMAG5273: Conversion Time

Hi,

I estimate the conversion time for TMAG 5273.

If temperature measurement and 32x averages are enable, is the conversion time 1695us?

And what is the order of conversion?

x,y,x,y,x,y,.........x,y?

x,x,x,x,.....,y,y,y,,y.....,?

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting your question to the E2E Sensors forum.

    Total conversion time will depend on the number of magnetic channels enabled (MAG_CH_EN) averaging setting (CONV_AVG). Please see Section 6.11 in the TMAG5273  datasheet. Table 7-4 also provides different update rates depending on CONV_AVG and the number of magnetic channels enabled. More information on MAG_CH_EN and CONV_AVG registers can be found in section 7.6.1.1 of the datasheet. I have included snippets from the datasheet below.
