IWR6843AOPEVM: Does the demo detect multiple people or just one person

Vitals only supports 1 person at a time.

Hi Meena,

The current Vitals demo supports only 1 person tracking and vitals calculation. To be able to track 2 persons, you will have to duplicate the entire vitals chain for the second person. Now, the tracking information of the 1 track is provided to the vitals chain. When you duplicate the 2nd Vitals chain, you need to pass the information regarding the second Track

Thanks for your reply. Where can I find the vitals chain and calculations, I mean where is the source code for that. Also what is the difference between 3D people tracking using default config and static retention config.

Source code is shared only with NDA. You can refer to IWRL6432 vitals demo implementation which is shared in the radar tool box.

For the algorithm you can refer to the openly available papers. 

In the static retention config, if the person is stationary, track is retained. In the default, track is maintained only when the person is moving
