TMP1827: About Device Configuration-1 Register

Part Number: TMP1827

Hi Team,

I have some question about TMP1827.

<Device Configuration-1 Register (Scratchpad-1 offset = 04h) [reset = 70h]>
Bit-3: AVG_SEL
Conversion averaging selection
0b = No averaging
1b = Averaging of 8 back-to-back conversions
Q1: About Averaging of 8 back-to-back conversions, which is sampling method "A" or "B" in attached file?

Bit-5: CONV_TIME_SEL
Selects the ADC conversion time
0b = 3 ms /
1b = 5.5 ms
Q2: How should "0b = 3 ms" and "1b = 5.5 ms" be used differently? Please tell me the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Best Regards,
