Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP87702-Q1
Hello,
In AWR1843BOOST PCB EVM board you have used LP87702-Q1 PMIC IC (1.28V and 1.8V). Can we use LP87524TRNFTQ1 instead of that IC in our own design ?
waiting for your help.

Hello Anil,
While the LP87524TRNFTQ1 has the required buck outputs for the AWR chip, one concern is the CAN chip on the board, which as a 5 V input:
TCAN1042-Q1Automotive Fault Protected CAN Transceiver with CAN FD datasheet (Rev. D)
This device is supplied by the 5V boost output of the LP87702-Q1. If you are not using CAN then it is most likely fine to use the new PMIC, as it was intended for radars. If you want to use CAN you may need to use the older device, or change CAN transceiver chips. Some of the TCAN1042 devices have integrated level shifters, but I would need to check if they can operate e.g. at 3.3V for their main power supply. A quick perusal of their datasheets suggests the level shifter is only for the interface signals however.

James
