AWR2544LOPEVM: OOB demo setup

Hi TI team,

I got brand-new AWR2544EVM and woule like to set it up with OOB demo on Windows.

I havn't flashed any binary by myself so far, but it looks something pre-flashed to see UART terminal message below by referring

C:/ti/mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_04_06_00_01/mcu_plus_sdk_awr2544_09_01_00_05/docs/api_guide_awr2544/EVM_SETUP_PAGE.html
"You should see output like below on the UART terminal..."

Then I have questions,

1) Has OOB demo appimage flashed before shipping?
2) I want to set the default config prepared in SDK. However, the terminal below has no response or prompt. How can I proceed further?

Hello Shige,

Ideally it is flashed with the demo (let me check internally), but can you reflash it and let me know if you are still getting this error?

Hi Saswat,

Thank you for response.

I made "Flash SOC Initialization" process and finally have flashed awr2544 demo app(demo_appimage0430.png).
Then I change to SOP mode4 jumper and do power-on cycle.

Unfortunately, I cannot see prompt like 3.4.3. in sdk_user_guide on Application/User UART.
This looks no change from the last screen.

How can I solve it? OR is there anything other to do?

Hello Shige,

Have you connected the ethernet cable from the EVM to the PC?

Hello Saswat,

Thanks to your advice, the prompt has shown when connecting the ethernet cable.
Then I'd like to conduct Data Collection. There seems to provide no caputure example with windows OS in SDK user guide. Does it need to use Wireshark itself?

On the other hand, I can get pcap file with mmwave demo visualizer with linux enviromnent.

You will find all the info there.
