IWR6843AOP: Using the IWR6843AOP with the DCA1000 EVM will not connect MSS power up async event was not recieved

Hello,

I am currently trying to use the IWR6843AOP with the DCA1000evm using mmWavestudio 2.1.0.0. I am getting the following error when I press the "SPI connect" button: "MSS power up async event was not received!". I have tried this Data capture card with the AWR1843AOP and mmWave studio 2.1.1.0 and it has been working. I have attached the images to this thread with my setup, the radar api, and the output. Let me know what I can try to fix this. thank you for the help.

Hello Erik,

This error is specific to the computer connecting and communicating with the DCA1000, and has no relation to the mmWave Sensor. This can usually happen due to incorrectly setup Ethernet settings with the IP address, to a simply incompatible/bad Ethernet cable. Start off by going through this DCA1000 User Guide on the Radar Toolbox in TI Developer Zone.
