Hi TI,

In our application we are using AWR1843AOP EVM board with UART protocol.

We are converting the USB output from the board to UART using USB to TTL convertor. But we were not getting data from the TTL, because it is having two COM ports. We already hard coded the configuration, So we need to enable only standard COM port, How to enable single COM port?

Can you help us to resolve the issue?

Hello,

I am not certain I understand the question. Are you trying to utilize a single UART port for data output with the configuration hard coded into the application instead of sending the configuration over UART?

One thing to confirm is that you are connecting TX or the converter to RX of the sensor and RX of the sensor to TX of the converter.

If this is correct then next we need to confirm you have correctly updated the application to hard code the configuration. Are you using one of our pre-built demos?

UART connection is perfect as you mentioned. We are using OOB example with hard coded configuration. So, we want to use single UART port for data output.

Thanks for clarifying. This is more of a software issue so I am looping in our software experts. It should be possible to hardcode the config.
