AWR1843AOP: Complier Version / XDCtools Version

The example projects use complier v16.9.6.LTS and XDCtools v3.50.8.24_core. Should I use these versions when creating a new project for the AWR1843, or should I upgrade to the latest versions (v20.2.7.LTS for compiler and v3.62.1.16_core for XDCtools).
