IWR6843: Difference between industrial and automotive radars

Hi,

I have IWR6843 and AWR1843 radar modules. Performances are different of both the radars. Like, IWR6843 radar module could be able to detect 1cmx1cm power cable, where AWR1843 could not. IWR6843 radar module could be able to detect the horizontal movement of the object, whereas AWR1843 detects only zig zag horizontal movement.

So, I just want to understand why there are differences in performance of both the radars,
1. Is it because of their frequency, since IWR6843 works on 60GHz and AWR1843 works on 77GHz?
2. Is it because of antenna design pattern?
3. This performance difference as per their application like industrial and automotive which is taken care in firmware?
