Is FDC1004 take one reading and set it to register or it will take multiple samples and take the mean value of multiple samples and save it to the register

The FDC1004 takes one reading and records the result in the associated registers MEASx_LSB & MEASx_MSB.
If you wish to have an average of the data, that will need to be handled by the external MCU.
