Hello, I am designing a custom PCB for the AWR6843AOP and the AWR1843AOP radar chips. I am looking through the code capabilities for the radars and have a couple of questions. Where can I find example c code for the radars' range-gating and data compression features performed in the DSP system block? During the range-gating of the FFT spectrum from the received beat frequency ADC data, Is it possible to save only a partial amount of range-gated information from a higher number of chirps before compressing the range-gated information to save storage? Thank you for your help.

Hi, there:

You can find some demo examples that uses compression engine at:

C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_03_06_00_00-LTS\packages\ti\demo\xwr64xx_compression

However, the compression engine is only included in AWR6843/AOP devices, not in the AWR1843/AOP device.

For range gating, you will have to implement yourself from the demo examples.
