Hello, We used our AWR1843 RADAR card in MRR/USRR mode and successfully recovered the data in TLV format. We detected several objects at varying distances. The retrieved data includes x, y, z coordinates, Doppler shift, range, as well as grouping data such as x-size, y-size, x-location, and y-location. Do you think it is possible to classify this data to recognize the different objects detected?

Hi Nawel,

Object classification algorithm is not present in the MRR demo. But you can use output of clustering algorithm included in the demo as input for your object classification algorithm. Based on the cluster size, you can try to classify the objects. You can explore various classification methods on the web.

Bonjour , à partir du test qui je fais par le Matlab j'obtient des données récupérées à partir de TLV 2 de clustering qui comprennent :Nombre d'objets détectés, x_size,y_size,clusterObj.x_loc,clusterObj.y_loc. ET j'obtient des données récupérées à partir de TLV 3 de tracking qui comprennent :numObj, 'x', 'y', 'vx', 'vy', 'clusters_x_loc', 'clusters_y_loc', 'range', 'doppler' . et puisque mon projet est requis sur la classification des objets Pensez-vous lequel devrais-je choisir pour la classification?

Hi Nawel,

As mentioned in my previous reply, you can use the cluster size to classify the objects. You can use the data from the Clustering TLV for this.

bonjour , mais je pense que le Track id est nécessaire pour la classification surtout lorsque il y a plus qu'un objet dans le même scénario ou non ?

Hi Nawel,

To differentiate multiple objects, you can use Tracking TLV and to classify the objects based on its type, you can use Clustering TLV. I hope that it's clear now.
