I'm working with AWR1843BOOST module in which I'm running automated_parking_18xx_mss to detect objects.

It is giving me detected object's coordinate, which is fine. Now I want the size and shape of the obstacle. For that My first question is :

Is it possible to calculate the size and shape of the objects in 2-D View. ?

If it is possible then - is there any example code ? Please share.

Can someone help me in this ?

Hi Vinay,

You can find the clustering algorithm at <SDK_DIR>\packages\ti\alg\mmwavelib\src\detection\mmwavelib_clustering.c. Clustering is already implemented in Medium Range Radar (ti.com) example. So you can refer to MRR demo to check the implementation.

In the current implementation, cluster size can be calculated but not the cluster shape.

Size of detected object can't be obtained. Instead you can use clustering algorithm to group data points or objects based on some similarity.
