Hi Josh,
Thanks for reaching out. I cannot comment specifically on the Arduino as it is more dependent on what type of Arduino you are using and what are the capabilities. Once you receive the LVDS data possibly over a CAN bus, you will be able to process the raw ADC data. You should also be able to send/receive by UART using the mmWave demo visualizer, which will all lead to getting range, velocity, phase information. Following links are helpful to get started.

Hello Josh,
The combination of the EVM and DCA1000 along with the mmWave Studio will allow to capture the ADC data.

Hello, but is it possible to use the AWR1642 together with the Arduino UNO without the DCA1000?
Josh,
We do not have any examples/demos using arduino uno and I cannot comment on the capabilities. That totally depends on your application and what you are trying to achieve.
For demo purposes, you can use the EVM board by itself and connect it to your PC along with the mmWave Visualizer, please refer to the following demo video: training.ti.com/mmwave-sdk-evm-out-box-demo-0
