Tool/software:

TMP112 uses TM1. When the temperature is higher than THIGH, the ALERT changes from high to low. After reading the register to clear the error, we changes the Tlow limit and alarms when it is lower than the low temperature limit. Does this sensor need to exceed THigh alarm before triggering an alarm below Tlow? Can an alarm only be triggered below Tlow？

Tlow acts as a hysteresis for the ALERT output. Tlow is not an under-temperature alarm. If you need an under-temperature alarm, this can be called a window comparator. On the TMP116, TMP117 and TMP119, the ALERT functions as a window comparator.

However, in the TMP112 manual, TM0 and TM1 are described as allowing for low temperature alarms. Could you please help confirm the alarm conditions? Thank you

This text may imply an under-temperature behavior for TLOW in the Interrupt mode, but that does not match the behavior shown in the illustration.

The illustration for TMP116/7/9 confirms that those devices have an under-temperature assert in interrupt mode, but TMP112 does not.
