Hi,

Will moisture affect the performance of RADAR or antenna?

Manoj,
Yes, moisture on the patch antennas can be problematic.
However, this handy Application Report on Radoms can help you understand how to build an enclosure for your radar to protect it (and it's antennas) from the environment.

Hi Blake,
Thank you for your response. One of my module's antenna is affected by moisture on its antenna patch. Can I clean that antenna patch with some solution?
Any suggestions on this?
Thanks,
Manoj
Manoj,
If the patch is currently wet, i would recomend removing the entire EVM from power and baking it in a thermal chabmer to remove moisture. I don't recomend attempting to remove varnish from the silver immersion as that may damage the antenna. Mild corosion shouldn't cause any issue to the device.

Blake.
