Hi,

At what speed IWR6843 transfers data out on serial? I want to know this information in frames/sec or in milli seconds.

Hi Manoj,

The baud rate for uart data output is 921600. Is this the information you are looking for?

Hi Josh,

This is baud rate. I want to know how many frames does radar shoot in one second. 20/25 frames per seconds like this.

Manoj,

Okay, understood. Thank you for clarifying. The frame rate of the radar is configurable. Which demo are you currently running? If you are sending a .cfg file over UART to configure the device then the frame periodicity can be found as a parameter in the frameCfg command.

Example: frameCfg 0 2 32 0 100 1 0

This value is given in ms. So in this example the radar would be running at 10 frames per second.
