AWR6843AOP: Low power consumption or sleep mode

Part Number: AWR6843AOP

Tool/software:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

We are using AWR6843AOP to design a radar system. We are trying to clarify the sleep mode of the chip.

Do you have documents that mentioned the sleep mode or low power consumption mode?

Or do you have the measurement data can let us know? Thank you.

  • Hey Mike,

For sleep mode, the power consumption is around 440-480 mW assuming MSS, DSS, and BSS is gated and RF & APLL is powered down. If the RF & APLL is not powered down and BSS is not gated, the power consumption increases to around 1 W assuming MSS and DSS is still gated during sleep.

    Regards,

    Kristien
