AWRL6432BOOST: how to generate transmission wave from only Tx1 or only TX2

Part Number: AWRL6432BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWAVE-L-SDK

Tool/software:

Hi, teams.

i want to evaluate characteristics of transmitted waves.

Could you teach me how to set up the following

○how to generate transmission wave from only Tx1

○how to generate transmission wave from  only TX2

○how to generate transmission wave from both Tx1 and TX2 simultaneously at same phase

how to generate transmission wave from both Tx1 and TX2 simultaneously at opposite phase

Now I am using mmwave-L-SDK or mmwavestudio.

  • Hi,

If you are using mmwave-L-SDK, please refer to the MMWAVE_L_SDK_05_04_00_01/docs/api_guide_xwrL64xx/MOTION_AND_PRESENCE_DETECTION_DEMO.html file. Search for "CLI Interface", Here you will be able to find parameters you need to modify to get the required Txs operation.

    Thanks,
    Kundan

  • Hi,

    I tried that with MMWAVE_L_SDK_05_03_00_02.
But I could'nt generate transmission wave from only Tx1 or Tx2.

After that, I tried that with mmwave_studio_04_01_00_06.
I could generate transmission wave from only Tx1 or Tx2.

    Thank you for your advice.

    Could you tell me
①how to generate transmission wave from both Tx1 and TX2 simultaneously at same phase
②how to generate transmission wave from both Tx1 and TX2 simultaneously at opposite phase

    Thanks,

    Oyamada

  • Hi Oyamada,

You can enable BPM mode in studio. This will essentially allows simultaneous transmission of Two Txs with 0,180 phase difference.

    Thanks,
    Kundan
