I hope you are well,

Customer is claiming that part: PGA970EVM is defective:

Inconsistency of the signal generator frequency of the PGA970EVM: EVAL
BOARD FOR PGA970 branching tool with the parameters specified in the
settings.
When checking the signal parameters, it was determined that the DAC
sampling frequency of the debugger signal generator is 532 kHz, which does
not meet the specification (according to the MHz specification).

It looks that part is out of warranty (Above 90 days from invoice),

Could you please advise if we are able to support Customer to help him resolve that issue?

Hi Grzegorz Bartosz,

It is possible the EVM is defective. You should be able to request a new EVM using our Customer Support Center (CSC). You can use this e2e post as confirmation that we will provide it to the customer free of charge

Hello Bryan,

Could you please advise if we can ask for replacement, even if the board is out of warranty?

Date of the invoice is from January, if I am not wrong EVK is having 3 months of warranty?

Hi Grzegorz Bartosz,

I'll be honest, I am not sure what the standard policy is for EVM warranties

However, you should be able to ask CSC for a new one and then use this e2e post as evidence that the person responsible for this product (me) authorized you to get a new one.

To that end, I approve you receiving one new PGA970EVM free of charge to replace the potentially defective one the customer has
