I've been using AWR1843BOOST with the MRR configuration and I wonder if I can get the more accurate doppler index value.
Now I can get the 'doppler index' as integers but I need more accurate values of first or second decimal places.

I have some more questions about my issue.
1. An example
I've got confusion so I am going to give you an example.
I was driving 30m/s, and doppler index from the static object on the surroundings indicated around 28~29.
Which make sense because range rate cannot capture the 100% velocity of the object.
But based on the link above, "Velocity in m/sec should be equal to Doppler Index * Doppler resolution (for the configured chirp)"
Doppler resolution is derived as 0.158 m/s according to the sensing estimator, which means Velocity in m/sec = 28*0.158 = 4.582m/s and thus this value does not make sense.
Can you please correct my calculation or understanding?
For your information, I get the key values from 'mrr_config_chirp_design_MRR120.h' file from 'mmwave_automotive_toolbox_3_5_0'.
And also attached the specifications of that configuration from sensing estimator.
2. Increment of velocity resolution
My original question is that is there a way to increase the velocity resolution by using MRR configuration.
Now I get the doppler index value as an order of integer, but I need more accurate values of first or second decimal places.
According to the resource explorer, velocity resolution should be 0.11m/s or better by the radar configuration.
Can you please guide me how to get better velocity resolution?

Yes, I was driving around 67~68mph so 30m/s would be confirmed value.
Here I also attached the mapping plot and the scene.
Red dots are position from the static objects and the number on the right refers to the doppler index.
And the our dash cam indicated the speed of the car as 68mph.

I still have some confusions so please go over my questions below.
1. Doppler index from the AWR1843BOOST
Based on your guide, the velocity resolution should be 0.237m/s from 'mrr_config_chirp_design_MRR120.h'.
And this means Velocity in m/sec = 29*0.237 = 6.88m/s and thus this value still does not match compared to my car's velocity (30m/s).
Again, the points above case is from the static point on the scene so it should have at least similar values to the my car's velocity (30m/s or slightly under).
I am assuming the data of 'Doppler index' is spitting out the value in m/s (29m/s in above case).
Can you please clarify this issue?
2. Increment of the chirp
As you guided, I changed the number of chirp from 128 to 192, 384 units but my radar does not operate at all in both of the configurations.
It is not providing any information so I cannot get any data.
Is there a upper limit for modifying the chirps? How can I verify the limits of the chirps?
