Hi Daniel,

It is recommended not to separate the expandable area and sensor area. Could you please share the use case requirement?

It is possible to perform programming but debugging over JTAG will not be possible after separating the sensor and the expandable area.

Can the sensor area be broken off and then programmed by connecting J8 and J9? It seems possible according to the circuit diagram

Hi,

Yes, the understanding is correct. It can be programmed by connecting J8 and J9 but 1.8V, 1,2V and 1.2V RF needs to be supplied externally as the connector J9 will only provide 3.3V supply. Since, IWRL6432AOP is working as 3 rail Power optimized topology, 1.8V, 1.2V and 1.2V RF needs to be fed externally from Test Points TP14, TP15, and TP16 externally.
