IWRL6432BOOST: Potential bug - constant detection at 10cm away from the device using High Accuracy Range mode.

Just a note - this peak stays there no matter where I point the device. THe other peaks move around as range is detected, but that first one doesnt.

Theres nothing on or infront of the device. Its clean.

1. Which version of the radar toolbox are you using?

2. Was there any modification done on the BOOST board?

2. Re-built the app image for the High Accuracy Range Demo and flashed it

Otherwise the switches are all in functional mode

I tested on a few BOOST boards, I do not see it. I do not think flashing causes this issue.

Do you see out of box demo working correctly on this board?

I just tested again today.

Actually its working now - the peak is still there at 10cm - but it isnt detected as a peak...Not sure what caused it to be detected before.

is it possible that the antenna could get moisture or dust on it ?

Any point is detected as a peak only if it is a local maxima. Dust can cause problem but that should not contribute to a constant peak at 10cm.

If you see a sloping profile from 0-10cm that is ok as sloping profile will not be detected as a peak as there is no local maxima
