AWR2544LOPEVM: mmWave Studio Manage Profile/ Manage Chirp problem

Part Number: AWR2544LOPEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DCA1000EVM

Tool/software:

I am trying to set up the AWR2544LOP with the DCA1000EVM board to capture raw data but I am encountering issues when attempting to activate the sensor profile. The initial steps work fine, but when I try to "Manage Profile" or "Manage Chirps", an error appears. I have attached screenshots for your reference.

Here are the details of my setup:

Hardware: AWR2544LOP and DCA1000EVM

Operating System: Windows 11

mmWave Studio 3.1.3.1

I have followed the standard setup procedures, but I am stuck at this point. Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue?

  • Hi Martin,

It's a known limitation in the studio. Instead of using the profile manager and chirp manager to configure the profile, you can use the fields in the sensor config tab only to configure the profiles. set the profile and other parameters one by one here and once all the profiles have been configured, you can trigger the frame.

  • Hi Shruti,Thank you for the information. I have a question about our antenna settings:Is it possible to configure the antenna via the Command Line Interface (CLI)? If so, could you provide some guidance on how to get started with this process? Our current antenna settings are quite extensive, so I'm looking for a more efficient way to manage them.
    Best regards,
    Martin
