Tool/software:
Hi TI,
We are testing ti\radar_toolbox_2_00_00_06\source\ti\examples\Kick_to_Open project and found that the default parameter has very low recognition rate.
Can you provide the parameters tested in the https://www.ti.com/video/6336840504112 ?
Such as CFG file, GESTURE_PROBABILITY_THRESHOLDS, and GESTURE_COUNT_THRESHOLDS.
What is the height and speed for a correct kick?
Since we are using AWRL6432 EVM for testing, can you provide proper parameters for AWRL6432?
Can we have the same result like the video in https://www.ti.com/video/6336840504112 ?
Thanks.
Hi,
The kick to open project is intended for the 1432 device, so performance may be degraded slightly because all data was collected and trained for that device. Please see the user guide here for instructions: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=A__AJsCAQwYlEAzTUTayUQO.Q__radar_toolbox__1AslXXD__LATEST
The height of the EVM is 30-45 cm off of the ground, and standing upright vertical. Please kick as seen in the videos.
Please be aware, the project in the radar toolbox is intended only to be a demonstration of capability, and more data will need to be collected for specific mounting locations and use cases.
GESTURE_PROBABILITY_THRESHOLDS: lower these thresholds to be more likely to accept a given gesture.
GESTURE_COUNT_THRESHOLDS: These values suggest the number of detections of a given gesture in a rolling window required to make a classification. A lower number will also mean a gesture is more likely to be detected.
Regards,
Tim
