AWR6843ISK: Availability of python code or publishing application outputs in the DOS command line for Zone Occupancy (VOD) applications

Part Number: AWR6843ISK

Tool/software:

Dear Ti member,

In context for a research development project, I am benchmarking the available radar based occupant monitoring solutions in the market.

I took a look at the AWR6843ISK development kit for Zone Occupancy (VOD) application inside a car in your website.

With the Matlab run time environment, the demo application provides a visual GUI showing the zone occupancy display.

Do you have any python code that does the similar work on your hardware?

If not, will it be possible to have the outputs of the zone occupancy (Front driver, Front passenger, Rear Driver, Rear passenger) displayed in the windows console (DOS) ?

Kindly provide your feedback. Your inputs are much appreciated.

  • Hi, there:

No, we do not have any python based visualizer for this project.   If you are interested to output any zone occupancy display, you are welcome to modify the MATLAB visualizer.  The source code of this MATLAB visualizer is provided in the toolbox and under .\src\ directory.

    Best,

    Zigang
