We are using two TI TMP75AIDR shared the same SMbus line see below.

Alert pin is not used and do not have external pull high.

My question is if there is no external pull high on alert pin, what are the effects or limitations when using this thermal sensor?

Alert is an open drain output that can be GND or NC when not used.

If temperature exceeding T high mean while alert pin is NC = low (active low)

Will SMbus wait for alert command and causing false issue?

The TMP75 will continue to operate the same regardless of whether it asserts ALERT pin.
