Hi,

I want to use the above evaluation board to simply detect the presence of a car in a parking spot indicated by either a 1 for a detected car or a 0 for no detected car with a chirp config hard coded, but I am having trouble working off the demos to accomplish this. I have been looking over the out of box demo and object detection demo, but I can't seem to make any progress. I also did note a hard coded config demo for a different device but haven't looked at that one yet. I am still in school, so I was wondering if there were any other resources or easier to understand documentation to learn from.

Is there any demo that uses the terminal to receive simple data from the radar instead of using a visualizer? A big part of what I want to do is simply flash the device with a prior configuration, set it up at one parking spot, and then simply have it flag whether or not there is a car on a terminal.

Hi,

The visualizer is likely built on top of a simple serial terminal UART interface. You probably can just send a configuration through a serial terminal on your computer, but then you could have to modify the output to toggle an LED or something to indicate when the space is full.
