AWR1843BOOST: How to initialize or calibrate the board

I use the AWR1843BOOST and DCA1000 board to detect one object near to 5m range. but the result of detecting is not good. there is always a missing target situation.

so my question is: whether I used the AWR1843 incorrectly, for example without calibrating the board?

How to initialize or calibrate the board.

Hi,

Calibration will be required by the device to function properly. Please check the SDK for the OOB demo and other examples, where you can refer the example working of the device.

hi， thanks for your reply.

I can collect data using AWR1843+DCA1000, the radar board works.

my question is I don't know whether my board need to calibrate or initialize , cause with correct test settings, I got wrong angle by processing the collected data.

and I used SDK3.6.2.0 edtion.

I hope you are using the mmWave Studio for this activity. Can you share the logs when you collect the data with the device. Once we evaluate the logs we can comment further on what the issue is.
