I'd like to konw how to achieve phase synchronization between multiple MMWCAS-RF-EVM cascade boards.

I know that for one MMWCAS-RF-EVM cascade board, the frequency, amplitude and phase of multiple channels can be synchronized through an corner reflector.

Now I'd like to know if the frequency, amplitude and phase synchronization can be achieved for multiple (that is, distributed) MMWCAS-RF-EVMs?

Hi Zst,

Would it be possible to elaborate on your requirement? Are you concerned about the phase synchronization during normal operation? Are you looking to do something via software? Typically, the devices that are cascaded will be phase synchronized with minimal error. I suggest you go through the following documents and let me know if it contains what you are looking for.

I have a general understanding of the phase calibration process of four 2243 chips on a single CASMMW-RF-EVM board.

My requirement is: the phases between the two CASMMW-RF-EVM chips should be synchronized, that is, the phases of the transmitted signals of the eight 2243 chips should be synchronized. Is this possible?

Hi Zst,

What is the mechanism that you intend to use to synchronize both the EVMs? Could you please highlight on a high-level what kind of control mechanism you plan on using? (i.e. via SW (eg. messaging between the DSP EVMs?), HW (any GPIO control) etc.)?
