Hello,

I am trying to implement a project in a 3D People Counting demo lab to get the average SNR of a cluster. As far as I understand, the gtrack algorithm calibrates the tracking of the cluster. I am using CCS to debug the code. In the gtrack algorithm (gtrack_unit_update.c), the value of goodPointsSnr is the average SNR of the tracked object. However, this value seems to be empty when printed to the console. Could you please help me move forward with this?

Hi Jomin,

Sorry for the delayed response here. How are you printing the value to the console? Sometimes with the compiler optimization the printing behavior is not always what you'd expect. If you place a breakpoint in the code and check the variable while the code is paused do you also see no value?

Thanks Josh. I have now managed to print the values using System_printf command. My other question is - Can you confirm the goodPointsSnr is the correct value of SNR for each tracked target in the scene?

Hi Jomin,

In the gtrack_unitUpdate function, goodPointsSnr is the total SNR (sum) of all the 'good points' associated with a target. In this context 'good points' means points that are both dynamic (i.e. Doppler is greater than zero) AND unique (i.e. point was within a gate of a single target).
