OPT3004: Wake-up Time

Part Number: OPT3004

Tool/software:

Hi,

Please let me know  about the wake-up time from standby mode to the start of single-shot measurement.

and, Our customer is planning to use it as a sensor for energy harvesting for indoor agriculture, but does
the OPT300X have any DIN in similar applications (if so, please let us know)?

Best regards,
Hiroshi

  • Hello Hiroshi,

Thank you for posting on the sensors forum,

The wakeup time is 3ms. This information can be found on footnote 5 under the Electrical Characteristics table.

We have several customers that use our devices to measure the lux level of sunlight. What is the end equipment?

    Thank you,

    Daniel Balmaceda

  • Hi Daniel-san,

    Sorry for the late reply.

The details of the device are unclear, but it is an agricultural device that uses an indoor light source.
This is battery-powered using solar cells, so the power consumption of the sensor is an important specification.

    Best regards,
    Hiroshi

  • Hello Hiroshi,

If the customer is using the sensor to sense the indoor lighting levels, this device will work for their application. Additionally, this device has a very low operating current of 1.8 uA so this device works well for battery powered applications.

    Thank you,

    Daniel Balmaceda
