AWR2243: What is the CSI2 data rate used on the MMWCAS-DSP-EVM

From the AWR2243 datasheet:

> CSI-2 data rate scalable from 150 Mbps to 600 Mbps per lane

What is the typical data rate provided by the AWR2243? Should I assume that the AWR2243 can push out data at the maximum rate of 600 Mbps or is this just the rated value of the interface?

Hello,

The actual throughput is based on duty cycle, number of receivers, sampling rate and resolution. For example with 4RX at 45Msps at 16-bit data at 50% DC the throughput would be 4 * 45 * 16 * 0.5 = 1440 Mbps.

You need to make sure that based on your CSI2 lane and data rate configuration, you do not exceed the total throughput of the interface for your sensor config.
