AWRL1432: AWR1432 bom optimized power on

Part Number: AWRL1432

Tool/software:

During BOM optimized bring up, the following is what we get:

VDDA_1V2RF should be 1.2V, but actual it is 0.2V.

Vout_14apll should be 1.4V, but actual it is 0V.

vout_14synth should be 1.4V, but actual it is 0V.

VDD should be 1.2V, actual it is 1.2V.

VDD_SRAM should be 1.2V, actual it is 1.2V.

VNWA is 0.955V.

Could you tell me how to enable VDDA_1V2RF, vout_14apll and vout_14synth?

  • The crystal is working in 40MHz, do we need enable it in software?

  • Hello,

    • Could you please confirm whether you are providing 1.8V external power supply to all the following pins: VDDA_18BB, VDDA_18CLK, VDDA_18VCO, VDDA_18PM and VIOIN_18?
    • Could you tell AWRL1432 device is being used in which BOM opt. mode (ex: 3.3V or 1.8V)? For 3.3V BOM optimized mode, VIOIN should be externally supplied with 3.3V. Similarly, VIOIN should be supplied with 1.8V for 1.8V BOM optimized mode.
    • Post that, can you also confirm whether voltages at all these pins are stable?

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

Could you confirm whether you were able to resolve the issue? Your above observations showed that the proper voltages are not generated at some of the critical signals.

There is no need to enable crystal in software.

    Thanks.
