OPT3101: crosstalk temperature calibration is not linear

Part Number: OPT3101

Tool/software:

When doing crosstalk temperature calibration by thermal chamber, according to "how to set up and calibrate OPT3101 based systems for proximity sensing" ,

the relationship between temperature and I,Q is thought to be linear.

However, the result is that the line breaks into two pieces.

Is this situation normal or not ?

  • Hi Hu Che,

Looks there is a step at 22C, and this is not a normal case.

Have you checked if the temperature is stable to the device in the chamber?

Can you increase the temperature range and see how the device behaviors?

How many parts do you see such issue?

If you repeat the same issue on more parts, we'll need check the settings.

    Best regards.
