I recently connected my MMWCAS-DSP-EVM board to my PC following the instructions provided in the user guide. However, I'm encountering an issue where the device is not recognized in the Device Manager. Additionally, I noticed that the FTDI POWER ENABLE LED, located near the USB mini 2.0 port, does not light up at full brightness when the board is connected to my laptop via the USB mini cable.
Details:
Device Not Recognized: The board does not appear in the Device Manager after connection.
FTDI POWER ENABLE LED Issue: The LED is dim and does not reach full brightness, which seems unusual based on the user guide and typical behavior of the board.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
I ensured that all connections were secure and that the correct USB drivers were installed.
I tried using different USB ports and cables, but the issue persists.
I checked the power supply to ensure it meets the board’s requirements.
Questions:
Could this be a hardware failure, possibly related to the FTDI chip or the power supply to the USB interface?
Or is it more likely a software or driver-related issue?
