AWR6843AOP: AWR6843AOP ROM bootloader question

Part Number: AWR6843AOP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Tool/software:

Hello team,

I'm curious if ROM bootloader could load META IMG2 alternatively when META IMG1 is corrupted.

When looking application note(mmWave xWR1xxx/xWR6xxx Bootloader Flow), there is below description of 'Fallback images'.

Also, when looking below E2E thread, there is below comments.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/1343473/iwrl6432-rbl-fallback-scheme-if-image-is-corrupted/5157539?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=fallback#5157539

Here are my quesitons.

1. Does 'Fallback feature' mean "If METAIMAGE1 boot image fails, it does indeed continue through images 2 and 3 and so on,"?

2. Does AWR6843AOP has the Fallback feature?

3. Can you please provide some examples when the boot fails? Maybe QSPI communication error / CRC check error / etc?

Your help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Victor Park
