AWRL1432: Question on info of memory used by RBL in TRM

Hi,

Below info in TRM ( SWRU599A – NOVEMBER 2023 – REVISED MARCH 2024) are conflicted and I think the first one is correct. Would you pls confirm? If yes, would you pls correct the info in the next TRM release?

    You are correct. The APPSS_RAM addresses 0x00458000 to 0x00460000 can be used by the application for uninitialized data sections. 

    Program or initialized data section should not be allocated to this memory region because they will be overwritten by the RBL

    I will submit a request to have this information updated in the TRM
