TMAG5170: ALERT to initiate conversion and alert when data is ready

Tool/software:

Hi team - as the subject says, if I configure TRIGGER_MODE such that I can start a conversion with a pulse on the nALERT pin, can I also have the nALERT pin provide a pulse to let the MCU know when the data is ready? Or can the nALERT pin only do one of those functions?

So ALERT_CONFIG bit 12 (ALERT_MODE) = 0h and SYSTEM_CONFIG bit 10-9 (TRIGGER_MODE) = 2h.

    Hey Jacob,

    Thanks for posting to the Sensors forum.

    These ALERT functions cannot be used simultaneously. ALERT can be used to either initiate a sensor conversion or indicate conversion complete, but not both at the same time.
