I have queries regarding TMP461
Can we use registers in place of transistor to simulate different Temperature, to simulate same behavior of diode.
What is series resistance needed Rs at collector & based terminal of remote transistor, is there any recommendations?

Hello Ravi,
Our remote temperature sensors were designed to match a remote transistor to measure the voltage across Vbe for temperature measurements. TMP461 is calibrated to connect to a transistor with a n factor of 1.008. We cannot guarantee the performance of using only a resistor as a remote junction.
