We have made a custom AOP board but used a different Flash IC from the one provided on the AWR1843AOPEVM board.
IC present on EVM board: Macronix - MX25V1635F
IC present on our custom board: Winbond - W25Q16JVZPIQ TR
We wanted to inquire whether this Winbond variant is supported on AWR18xx boards, as mentioned in a related thread. If it is not supported, is it due to hardware incompatibility, or can the device drivers be modified to accommodate the new IC by writing drivers for it, such as adding a source file for our IC?
