HDC2010: multiple windows (opening not aligned) guidelines

Hi expert,

Customer used HDC2010 with multiple windows (openings not aligned). May we learn from your experience is there any more guidelines or like gaps of height between the chip sensing area to the window can share with us?

    Hello Allan,

    Thank you for your post. We unfortunately don't have any content for height recommendations as there are too many variables and this is not our area of expertise.

    They would have to perform some functional testing or simulation in order to determine if the airflow from the openings are enough to keep the conditions inside and outside the case close to each other.

    Since the sensing element is under the device, you could possibly add a small hole in the PCB under the sensor and see if this helps the HDC2010 capture more air compared to the existing setup.
