TMCS1101: PSRR error and PSRR of TMCS1101A2U

Part Number: TMCS1101

Tool/software:

Hi team,

I have some questions about PSRR of TMCS1101.

(1) PSRR error

In the data sheet, the PSRR error is as follows, but when the power supply voltage Vs is 3.3V, does the "Vs-5" term in the formula become "Vs-3.3", or do I still have to calculate it as "Vs-5" in that case?
For example, if the power supply voltage Vs is 3.3V and the accuracy is say 1%, is it correct to understand that the "Vs-5" term is 3.3V x 1% = 0.033V?

(2) PSRR value of TMCS1101A2U

Could you please tell me the typical and maximum values of PSRR when using TMCS1101A2U and the power supply voltage is 3.3V? I can't find the PSRR of TMCS1101A2U on the data sheet, so could you tell me them?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Taito Takemura

  • Hi Taito,

    1. The "Vs-5" term stays "Vs-5" regardless of the supply voltage used.

    2. The upper row of the screenshot you sent applies to the TMCS1101A1U, A2U, and A3U. We do not provide PSRR values outside of what is specified in the data sheet. You will need to use Equation 9 (from your screenshot) to calculate the PSRR for your application with a Vs of 3.3V. Maximum PSRR will not be exceed ±3mV/V.
