Hi TI,

Currently i am try to calculate the flow rate of gas/liquid medium using ultrasonic. I have tryed ADC based method using msp430fr6043. I need to workout with TDC based method also, can you please suggest me a evalulation board for TDC based approch to find the flow rate effectively using ultrasonic waves.

Hello,

The TDC1000 is our TDC based ultrasonic solution, but we do not recommend this device for flow applications due to an issue where the first stop pulse can be missed randomly resulting in erorr of the flow rate accuracy. This is mentioned in the FAQ below. The TDC1000 is recommended for distance measurements such as liquid level sensing. For ultrasonic flow applications, we recommend the MSP430FR604x devices.
