IWR1843AOP: Developing CCS code for IWR1843

It's been a little over a week now I was curious if you would know where to start for developing your own CCS code for the IWR1843AOP. So far I have been looking at the out of box demo to see how the functions work but it's a bit overwhelming and some of the documentation is unclear how it is coded. Is there any guide or document in particular you would recommend I look at.

I am attempting to use both the DSP and the ARM cortex on the device and I do not believe the out of box demo uses the DSP. I have been trying to use the 3D_people_track_6843 demo instead. I followed the directions for building the project from the link you provided but everytime I start building it I get stuck on the image creator step. I have atteched a screenshot of my CCS environment.

I've also changed the let this step run for close to 30 minutes and it would not progress. I believe the progress tab shown in the bottom right corner shows the multicore image creator is still running.

I found out the issue with this it had to do with having a space in the file directory. Do you know of any example codes that use both the DSP and the ARM core other than the 3D people track?

Hi Erik,

You can try small obstacle detection or vital signs. Are you using Windows or Linux? I've heard of issues with the image creator not working on Linux in the past.

Small obstacle detection demos is there a guide that explains the different APIs and how they directly relate to the program. I've seen some guides and watched videos like: https://www.ti.com/video/6216952486001 to help but I'm having a hard time understanding how the code flow is working and what inputs I should put in for the demo. For example right now I am stepping through the small obstacle detection code and it gets to the CLI operational stage but I do not know what inputs to give it for the demo to work. Thank you for the help.
