Hi everyone,
I am using the HDC3021DEHR connected on a PCB board, and I've noticed a discrepancy in the humidity readings. Specifically, the HDC3021 shows a difference of around 10% RH compared to the room temperature.
On the same board, I also have the HDC2021DEBR connected, which provides readings much more in line with the environmental and chamber values. However, across a batch of 30 boards using the HDC3021DEHR, the humidity discrepancy persists.
I am considering migrating to the HDC3021DEBR for its additional features, but this inconsistency in humidity readings is holding me back. I've already removed the silk tape after assembly and have not provided a copper cut-out ring around the IC. Apart from this I have followed other guidelines mentioned in data sheet.
Below image represents data taken in room temperature were Y axis is humidity in percentage and X axis shows data taken over certain time period
Orange line : HDC2021DEBR
Blue Line HDC3021DEHR
Can anyone help me understand what might be causing this discrepancy or suggest a solution?
