TMP468EVM: TMP468EVM USB2ANY Stuck in firmware loop

Part Number: TMP468EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY

Tool/software:

Received TMP468EVM out of box and was able to connect to it with TI GUI software.  At this point the board was running with USB2ANY.dll version 2.7.0.16

I was then trying to use our own software to connect to the board (in place of the GUI) and when I connected to the board it prompted me that I needed to update the firmware to 2.8.2.  Presumably this was because my own control software was using the 2.8.2 version of the dll.  I did this, and it seemed to happen successfully, but after I was unable to see the board through USB2ANY explorer, nor was I able to operate the TI GUI as the board could no longer be found.

I tried to power the device up while holding the reset button down and then I was able to see the board and program it again, but still not able to connect to the board afterwards.  I was able to locate a 2.7.0.0 copy of the usb2any explorer and tried to program it with that version, but that still did not enable me to operate.

Each time I programmed the firmware, i did replace the corresponding version of USB2ANY.dll in the same folder as the TMP468EVM.exe folder, figuring that they should match.

Any tips on how to move forward with this?  1st step would be to get the board back to a working state using the TI GUI.  I could then try to use my own software again with an older copy of the dll.  I would, however, prefer to use the latest if possible.

Thanks!
